This is an online location for all my work which pertains to the English Ext course work for Term 3 2009.
For my term 3 text study I will be studying Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations and two of it’s appropriations Mister Pip by Lloyd Jones and Great Expectations the film.
Appropriation details:
Students will present their own original appropriation of the text. This can be in the form of a short story, a poem, a cartoon story, some music, a short film, a movie proposal, dance or another artistic form.
Ideas so far:

Most likely a short story/ film proposal with a cartoon story on the side (or some accompanying sketches)

Appropriating Great Expectations.

Make it a unique story yet recognisable to readers of Great Expectations.
